Improved Facilitation Drive participation, deliver resultsFacilitating ideas capturing sessions can be difficult. MindGenius allows you to create a framework for your session, and easily capture ideas, and improve collaboration with your attendees. Your map acts as a mechanism to keep everyone involved and the visual impact of the map keeps the group focused. It eliminates the need for post session collation and allows you to share thinking with attendees or other colleagues. Quickly identify what needs to be discussed ahead of your meeting, structure the sequence of what needs addressed and work out the best flow for the session/ day. Add your own questions to and use the Questions Tool to create a framework. Capture discussion in real time, allowing for deviations to planned discussion where appropriate, in the knowledge that you have the capability to pull back to the "agenda" at any time. Identify, prioritize and assign actions/mini projects/projects to enable agreed objectives to be addressed and help achieve consensus. Follow up whenever required what has/ has not been achieved to date and from this take another look at objectives and priorities to enable you to manage through to conclusion. Share thinking with attendees and other colleagues either via a map or by exporting to MS Office packages.

| As part of our National Conversation, the Scottish Government continues to engage in frank and fruitful dialogue with all sides of industry and with our communities to identify opportunities and issues and work towards a better future.
Our objective is to open minds to what can be achieved and to encourage people to connect and co-operate more with each other, culminating in more positive action that can produce incrementally better results.
In that process, and the version of that engagement that my department has carried out, MindGenius has proven to be an invaluable catalyst providing a framework to those discussions, capturing viewpoints as we go along and allowing us to quickly and easily share outputs for further thought, discussion and action.
