Getting group discussion underway can be enjoyable but equally challenging. Keeping everyone involved and engaged is demanding, as you are faced with a wide variation of abilities and willingness to speak in class.

The MindGenius approach and application provides a focal point for discussion, encourages wider interaction and has been proven to keep students interested longer.

This helps you to:

  • facilitate collaborative learning
  • stimulate and capture class discussion
  • encourage peer to peer learning
  • make your classes more interactive
  • get different skills levels to engage and keep them engaged

After you have created a map with your class, if you wish, you can incorporate the ideas into a lesson plan, use the map at the end of a topic to highlight what's been covered, or use the information as the basis for revision guides or frameworks for essays or projects.

Very effective in involving all class in group discussion - increased involvement of all in class - pupils seemed more motivated and engaged.
