Can I transfer maps to the desktop that I’ve created on the iPad?
You can send maps that you’ve created as email attachments, or you can upload your map to Dropbox and access it from another location. (MindGenius Version 4 is required on the desktop)
What are the requirements for MindGenius for iPad?
The MindGenius iPad application will run on iPad 1, iPad 2 or iPad 3 provided the device is running iOS version 5 or above. This version of iOS is available as a free update to all iPad users. Older versions of iOS are not supported.
Can I transfer maps onto my iPad that I created on the desktop?
You can send your maps as an email attachment from the desktop application (MindGenius Version 4 is required). To do that, switch to the Export tab and click ‘As Email attachment’. Send the email to an address that is accessible from your iPad. When you view the email on the iPad you can tap the attachment and select ‘Open in MindGenius’.
Alternatively, MindGenius for iPad integrates with Dropbox which is a free, personal online repository in which you can store files and access them anywhere.
What map formats does the iPad app support?
The iPad application supports the MindGenius XML map format with the .mgmx extension. This is the default format for MindGenius desktop Version 4.0 and up. (XML map formats created in Version 3.8 are not supported)
